The William Smith basketball team received special mention from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association when it published its Academic Top 25 for NCAA Division III. The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes the nation’s best academic performances at each level of collegiate women’s basketball. The teams with the highest cumulative GPA for the 2023-24 academic year are listed in the top 25 with all teams posting a 3.0 or higher receiving special mention.
