    House fire reported on Old Stonehouse Road in Newburgh

    NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) – Emergency crews are tackling a house fire on the 6700 block of Old Stonehouse Road in Newburgh.

    Nick Donnan, Chief of the Newburgh Fire Department, says multiple agencies were present to help take out the fire which was heavily on the backside of the home.

    Chief Donnan says no medical attention was not needed for the family or personnel at this time.

    He says getting to the fire posed difficulties as the home sits on the back of the road.

    Warrick County Dispatch confirmed the initial call came in at 6:47 p.m..

    The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.

    This is an ongoing investigation and we will update with more information as it becomes available.
