LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. - A victim in a golf cart was struck by a projectile in Liberty Lake, and police are seeking information about the incident. According to the Liberty Lake Police Department, an assault occurred on Tuesday at around 5:30 p.m. in the area of North Lakeside Road and East Valley Way Avenue.

Spokane Valley man accused of violent attack in violation of restraining order
SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man accused of violently assaulting a woman and violating a restraining order Wednesday. According to the sheriff’s office, a 911 call alerted deputies that there was a problem. When deputies arrived, they say that they found that a woman had been violently assaulted by the man who broke into the home and then fled after the victim managed to call 911.

SWAT Standoff On H Street
Law enforcement is still on site. For over an hour Colville Street was closed during a standoff between an unknown individual and and Spokane City Police. During the standoff, law enforcement could be heard giving directions to someone inside to put the weapon down. During the standoff, Colville was closed between E & H Streets.
