When Delaware’s Brandywine School District hired John Ervin Arnold as a trauma counselor for K–5 students in October 2021, officials were impressed by his master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology from Ohio University.
DSU launches program to train elder care workforce
Delaware State University will establish a program that could expand the available workforce to take care of the growing aging population in Kent and Sussex Counties. Under an initiative announced Friday, DSU's Wesley College of Health and Behavioral Sciences will work with Education, Health and Research International in creating a "Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program."
