Tracy Coyne Resigns from Saint Francis to Pursue New Coaching Opportunity
LORETTO, Pa. — Saint Francis University women's lacrosse head coach Tracy Coyne has announced that she will resign from her post to pursue another coaching opportunity. "Although I'm certainly disappointed that Tracy will no longer lead our women's lacrosse program, I cannot thank her enough for the numerous contributions and accomplishments she brought to Saint Francis during her tenure," said Saint Francis Director of Athletics James Downer. "Through dedication and skill, Tracy brought Red Flash women's lacrosse to profound heights, setting new program marks for most overall wins in a season, the most NEC victories in a season, and for the first time in Saint Francis history, led the team to consecutive postseason berths in the NEC Tournament. Coach Coyne's efforts have done much to elevate and establish our program into a perennial contender, and I'm confident that we'll only build off Tracy's success. We certainly wish Coach Coyne the best of luck in her future endeavors."
