High temperatures complicate a hay fire in Wilson County
WILSON COUNTY, Kan - On Monday afternoon, July 15, county units responded to a hay baler and hay meadow fire North West of Altoona. First arriving units were faced with thick windrows of hay and excessive heat which required the request for additional units.
