    2 Brick women who pleaded guilty to animal cruelty sentenced to nearly 1 year in jail

    Two Brick Township women who pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and child neglect have been sentenced to nearly a year in jail. Aimee Lonczak and Michele Nycz were sentenced to 364 days in Ocean County Jail.

They were arrested in December 2022. Lonczak’s 16-year-old daughter was also in the home at the time, hence the child neglect charges. "
