NYPD: 3 teenagers stabbed at park in Tremont

Police say three teens were stabbed steps away from a school at 1919 Prospect Ave. in Tremont. According to the NYPD, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the middle back, another 15-year-old stabbed in the right torso and a 16-year-old stabbed in the left thigh at around 6 p.m. Wednesday. News 12 spoke with resident Sekiej Burke about the incident. “It’s a bad look for us as a community, us as a unit. We’re supposed to be a family. We should be able to talk through our issues and problems. Not revert to stuff like that," said Burke. All three teens were taken to the hospital. Police say they have a person of interest in custody, but no arrests have been made. "
