A new initiative was launched to help New Yorkers get access to benefits they may need. Mayor Eric Adams launched the Money in Your Pocket initiative on Monday. Hundreds of staff from across city government will begin to visit more than 20 neighborhoods and NYCHA complexes weekly to help people find out what benefits they qualify for.
