    As if on cue, Mother Nature knew we were getting ready to head back to school and that September grind, so she’s whipping up some last-minute summer heat for us to enjoy. Daily high temperatures reached nearly 90 degrees in a few neighborhoods. The humidity wasn't atrocious, so it didn't feel too terrible. Carolina air will continue to creep up the East Coast.
