Mostly cloudy, breezy conditions with some showers in New Jersey

NOW: Cooler and breezy weather arrives this morning under a mostly cloudy sky. A few rogue showers linger from last night's front, but this time in northern New Jersey. The showers will taper shortly after sunrise. The wind is from the east/northeast and it is reducing humidity, which will reduce the chances for rain for the rest of the day. NEW: The next round of rain occurs tonight with passing downpours through early tomorrow morning. Friday improves to become a great day by mid-to-late morning with a mostly cloudy sky. It will be great Saturday with comfortable temperatures in the lower 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. Rain returns very late - after 10 p.m. and continues overnight. NEXT: It should be clear by Sunday morning as beautiful weather returns - sun and clouds again with highs near 88. Monday is awesome, mostly sunny and pleasant. The weather next week looks tame with a sunny sky and temperatures in the lower 80s. "
