Driver ticketed after Victor crash for failing to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A driver was ticketed Saturday morning after a crash in Victor.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Monica Verma, 20, was driving north on State Rt. 96 when another driver cut her off. This happened around 11 a.m.

Deputies said Stephen Voll, 77, failed to yield the right of way to her and drove into the roadway causing the two to crash. He was cited by deputies at the scene.

Minor injuries were reported and those involved were taken to the hospital.
