In a release from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, the eight-month investigation into the two men had the cooperation of five police agencies to share investigative information and gain evidence to link many crimes to Sutton and Lisefski.

Police allege the two of causing multiple commercial burglaries, stealing vehicles, arson, larcenies, tampering with evidence, causing property damage, and narcotics sales.

Hundreds of hours of evidence were put together and presented to a Grand Jury presentation leading to the indictment of Sutton and Lisefskin on 38 individual charges.

Sutton was arrested and processed in Steuben County Court before he was taken to the Steuben County Jail on $20,000 cash bail while Lisefskin was taken to the Steuben County Jail due to an active New York State Parole Violation Warrant and is being held without bail.
