Man pleads guilty in connection to overdose of two Monroe County teenagers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Shannon Praylor Jr., who was charged in connection to the overdose of two teens, has pleaded guilty.

Praylor pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault. This came following the overdose of two teenagers in 2022, one of whom passed away.

Paige Gibbons of Pittsford passed away at age 19 from an overdose of fentanyl before Thanksgiving of 2022. Investigators said Paige took a pill that she believed to be Percocet. Praylor was also connected to the overdose of another teenager between November 19 and 20, 2022.

Praylor is scheduled to appear in court on October 25, 2024.
