Black Bears to play Motor City in the league semifinals

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – After sweeping the Watertown Wolves in the opening round of the FPHL playoffs, the Binghamton Black Bears have advanced to the semifinals where they will meet Motor City for a 3-game series.

The winner will advance to the Commissioner’s Cup championship series.

The Black Bears reached this point last season, losing to Danbury in 3 games.

In 5 meetings with Motor City this season, the Black Bears have gone 3-2.

Binghamton will be on the road for Friday’s Game 1, before returning home for Game 2 on Saturday and if necessary, a series deciding Game 3.
