    Binghamton man pleads guilty to lottery ticket robberies

    BINGHAMTON, NY (WIVT/WBGH) — A Binghamton man is facing eight years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of Robbery related to stealing lottery tickets on multiple occasions.

    Rasheed Crawford, 41, of Binghamton, admitted in Broome County Court to forcibly robbing a Mirabito Service Station and an EZ Food Mart on April 8 and April 10, 2024, respectively, while “brandishing what looked like a handgun,” according to DA Paul Battisti.

    It is said Crawford stole cash along with the lottery tickets from the store clerks.

    Crawford is scheduled for sentencing on November 8, 2024, facing eight years in prison and three years of post-release supervision.
