    Stranger Things 5 Halfway Through Filming

    ATLANTA, GA - There is good news for Stranger Things fans who cannot wait until the 5th and final installation of the series. Filming is halfway complete.

    According to Netflix, the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things" is officially back in production as of January 8, 2024, and fans have a reason to celebrate.

    On July 15, which marks the eight-year anniversary of the show's premiere, the creators announced that Season 5 is halfway through filming.

    Fans eager for a glimpse behind the scenes can turn to co-creator Ross Duffer's Instagram.

    Highlights include a photo of Gaten Matarazzo's character, Dustin Henderson, with the caption "Hellfire lives!," and another of Finn Wolfhard's Mike Wheeler in a room adorned with a Star Wars poster.

    Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, is seen with the Duffer brothers, while Natalia Dyer features in a shot evocative of Hawkins High’s newspaper, The Weekly Streak, according to Netflix.

    Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink appear together on set in a hospital room, David Harbour’s Hopper looks ready to head to Enzo’s, and Noah Schnapp celebrates Will Byers’ birthday on March 22.

    The Season 5 premiere episode, titled "The Crawl," was revealed on Stranger Things Day 2022, sparking fan theories about its meaning.

    According to Netflix, since the writing for Season 5 began on August 2, 2022, the show's writers have kept fans updated, from starting the grid stage of writing on August 25, 2022, to completing it on September 20, 2022.

    With production progressing steadily, anticipation for the final season of "Stranger Things" continues to build, promising more thrilling adventures in Hawkins.
