    This unique recipe captures the essence of the city's beloved pierogies but with a convenient, casserole twist. Perfect for family dinners or potlucks, this hearty dish is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

    Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil 12 lasagna noodles as per the package instructions, then drain and set them aside. In a large bowl, combine 4 cups of prepared mashed potatoes, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes to allow the top to brown.
