RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OH - According to a press release issued by the Ohio Lottery on Friday, August 16, 2024, a lucky lottery player in Richmond Heights has won $10,000 by playing the Ohio Lottery’s 50th Anniversary scratch-off.

The winning ticket was purchased at Highland Food Mart, located at 25989 Highland Road.

According to the press release, after mandatory state and federal tax withholdings of 28 percent, the winner will receive approximately $7,200.

The 50th Anniversary scratch-off is a $50 game with an impressive top prize of $600,000 per year for 25 years. As of August 16, two top prizes remain in the game.
