10,000 Dollar Scratch-Off Winner Sold in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH - According to a press release issued by the Ohio Lottery on Friday, August 16, 2024, a Columbus woman is celebrating a $10,000 win after playing the Ohio Lottery’s Bingo 50X scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #9770, located at 1103 Morse Road in Columbus.

According to the press release, after the mandatory state and federal tax withholdings, totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $7,200. Bingo 50X is a $10 scratch-off game that offers a top prize of $500,000. As of August 16, three top prizes remain available in the game.

The Ohio Lottery continues to offer a wide range of scratch-off games, giving players the chance to win big. The lottery has been a significant contributor to education in Ohio, with more than $32 billion directed to schools and educational programs since its inception in 1974, according to the press release.
