Winning 100,000 Dollar Powerball Ticket Sold in Ohio

OHIO - A lucky Powerball ticket sold in Louisville has made one local resident $100,000 richer.

According to a press release issued by the Ohio Lottery on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, the winning ticket for the August 19, 2024, Powerball drawing was sold at Enjoy’s Drive Thru, located at 306 Enterprise Circle in Louisville, Ohio.

The ticket holder, who has yet to claim their prize, chose their own numbers and successfully matched four out of five numbers, along with the red Powerball, to win $50,000. Thanks to the Power Play option, which doubles the prize, the winnings soared to $100,000, according to the press release.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 1-2-15-23-28, with the Powerball number being 10. The Power Play multiplier for this draw was 2X, which enhanced the prize for those who opted for this feature.
