SYRACUSE, NY - Buc-ee's, known for its massive convenience stores and iconic beaver mascot, has been expanding its presence beyond Texas, making a move into states across the U.S.

If Buc-ee's were to consider opening a location in New York, several possible and logical places could serve as ideal sites for the popular travel center.

One potential location could be near major highways like the I-90 corridor, which runs across New York from the Pennsylvania border to the Massachusetts state line, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

A location near Albany, close to the junction of I-90 and I-87, also sees high levels of traffic, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

It would provide access to travelers heading toward New England, New York City, and Canada.

This strategic placement would capture a large volume of regional and long-distance traffic.

Another viable option could be the outskirts of Buffalo, particularly near the intersection of I-90 and I-290. This spot would attract travelers heading to and from Canada, as well as those journeying across upstate New York.

Additionally, areas near Rochester or Syracuse, which are central to the state and have significant traffic flow, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

These areas could also be strong contenders for a Buc-ee's location.

These cities lie along major interstate routes and are frequented by road-trippers and long-haul drivers alike.

Given Buc-ee’s focus on serving travelers with ample parking, fuel stations, and an extensive variety of snacks and merchandise, these locations would provide the ideal combination of accessibility, visibility, and customer demand, making them logical choices for expansion into New York.
