On Mother’s Day 2021, Tabitha Queen disappeared in Bastrop, Louisiana. Tabitha was last seen heading to the Save-U-More grocery store, where she was spotted on the store’s surveillance camera. At the time of Tabitha’s disappearance, she stood 5 feet 4 inches tall weighing 230 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Tabitha has several tattoos, according to a trusted source:

    1. A mask that reads “laugh now and cry later”
    2. On her chest, “legend”
    3. On her left buttock a marijuana leaf
    4. Stars on her arm (unfortunately it is unclear which arm the stars are on), and
    5. Scars on her chest

Tabitha has three children that according to reports were found alone in the home the day that she disappeared. Per reports, the children stated that Tabitha left the home at 11:00 am heading to the store, and never returned.

According to Tabitha’s oldest daughter a few days before she went missing she was arguing with a man to whom she had loaned her car too. When the man finally returned the car to Tabitha, there was a strange smell within the car, and blood was found in the area where the spare tire was kept. After discovering the smell and the blood stains, Tabitha told the man that he could no longer use her car. The man, it has been reported, started cursing and threatening to kill Tabitha, later that day a van was spotted by the house and someone tried to kidnap Tabitha. It is unclear if the incident with the man borrowing the car had anything to do with Tabitha’s disappearance.

According to Mary Lunford, Tabitha's mother, Tabitha did contact her on Mother’s Day to wish her Happy Mother’s Day. The call was cut short after Mary Lunford heard an unknown voice in the background, and begin to question Tabitha about who the person was. This was the last time Mary Lunford heard from her daughter.

Tabitha’s car was later found on West Pine Street in Bastrop, Louisiana. A black male was seen on surveillance video driving the car, abandoning the car on West Pine Street, and walking away heading eastbound on foot. You can go to the below link to watch the actual footage.

In 2022, police stated that they have a person of interest who was at the time already in jail. It is highly suspected that Tabitha has met with foul play.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the Bastrop Police Department at (318) 281-1322, or the North Delta Regional Crime Stoppers at (318) 388-2274. The agency case number is 2021-2497.

A special thanks to Mary Lunford for allowing Tabitha’s story to be told on this platform.
