After arriving at the Grammys donning a silver belly cowboy hat, Beyonce put the rumors to rest in a Verizon Super Bowl ad followed by an Instagram post. The genre is country without question.

This is a groundbreaking moment in the multifaceted career of the 32-time Grammy winning artist, where she will be showcasing her artistic versatility and pushing the boundaries of genre classification.

The first installment of "Renaissance" released in 2022, captivated audiences with its fusion of various musical styles and stunning visuals.  The album earned praise for Beyonce's artistic vision, innovation and cultural significance.

Beyonce is once again challenging expectations with her announced of Part II.  This bold move highlights her commitment to artistic exploration and experimentation, as well as her dedication to diverse musical traditions and narratives.

While some may be surprised by Beyonce's foray into country music, those familiar with her eclectic body of work understand that she is no stranger to genre blending and experimentation.  Throughout her incredibly successful career, Beyonce has fearlessly embraced musical diversity.  She has included elements of pop, soul, rock and more into her individual sound.

Within minutes of Beyonce's announcement on the Verizon Super Bowl commercial, "Ok.  They ready.  Drop the new music," fans started searching.  Finally, her Instagram page reveled the album title, "act ii", and the release date of March 29.

Tidal, a music streaming service primarily owned by Jack Dorsey (who Beyonce and Jay-Z were seated with at the Super Bowl) released the first two tracks from the album.

As described by Variety , "Texas Hold 'Em" is almost entirely acoustic guitars, bass drum and vocals, with a chorus that concludes, "It's a real-live boogie and a real live hoedown, don't be a bitch just take it to the floor now." The second release is called "16 Carriages".

Beyonce is wearing a cowboy hat in the artwork for both singles, though she pairs it with her own style including a metallic bikini in the "Texas Hold 'Em" image.

In an ever-changing landscape of the music industry, Beyonce serves as a beacon of innovation and inspiration.  She is challenging boundaries, uniting communities, and igniting the souls of fans everywhere.  Her journey through the three part series of Renaissance should be nothing short of extraordinary.
