Maren Morris, a black sheep in country music, is opening up about Beyoncé's shift back to country music after it has been making the headlines since the Grammy's.

Morris, who left country music after a rift with Jason Aldean, his wife, and well just about the entire industry, is making her stance well known on the state of the industry.

To say that the "Bones" singer is incredibly supportive of Beyoncé would be an understatement.

In fact, talking to E! News , Morris is all in on what Beyoncé could do to the country music industry as a whole.

"I feel like she's always been genre-less, but I think the leaning into country elements and sort of reclaiming country music back to Black people because they created the genre is such a statement," she told E! News.

"Obviously, like most people, I'm so utterly excited to hear the whole album," Morris said. "I was listening to ‘16 Carriages' this morning and just marveling at the production and the lyrics and the vulnerability."

Beyoncé has been making headlines this week after country music radio stations were not picking up her new single "Texas Hold ‘Em." Eventually, after much outcry, many of those stations have since backtracked and are now airing the song.

The Stetson wearing Queen Bey announced during the Super Bowl that her new album, Act II , will drop on March 29 and is being billed as a return to her roots.
