Over the weekend, DJ Khaled stepped out in Miami to help hospitality mogul David Grutman get his party started at the South Beach Food & Wine Festival, taking the stage during the event to perform some songs joined by "The Boss" Rick Ross .

Never shy of putting his expensive taste on full display, when superstar producer and rapper DJ Khaled arrived at the event on Sunday, February 25, the Miami native stepped out of his black-and-gold Mercedes-Maybach, only to be whisked up by his bodyguards and carried carefully a few feet to a waiting golf cart.

Apparently, the “God Did” rapper and We The Best founder wanted to keep his Air Jordans fresh while holding it down during the daytime concert at The Dave Grutman Experience , and when you have two giant men flanking you at all times, it’s just good business sense to put them to work.

"I don't want to get my Jordans dirty. Can I get everybody to help me?" he asks before almost slamming the expensive car door on one of the kicks. "Thank you brother, I appreciate it," he adds as the two bodyguards struggled to carry him to a waiting cart. He reiterates not wanting to "mess up the J's" before taking a short ride to the stage, where he was once again carried and placed gently on the stairs, which had sand all over them.

When Khaled's set began, he made sure to thank his bodyguards for their service before jumping into some of his hits, joined midway through by Rick Ross on "I'm On One" and more. Check out some footage from the event below.

There are currently no additional concert dates for DJ Khaled scheduled for 2024, but he was sure to remind the crowd that he has two brand new songs with Toronto rapper Drake on his upcoming album Til Next Time -- one of which is "ready to go."
