Model and photographer Pattie Boyd , who at one point was married to George Harrison and later Eric Clapton , is auctioning off some of her most revealing letters from her time spent with both legendary songwriters.

Up for auction via Christie's , alongside over 100 other pieces of memorabilia from Boyd's expansive collection -- including photographs, clothing, hand drawings, and more -- fans of The Beatles and the '60s and '70s pop culture in general will find more than they could possibly handle.

Within the treasure trove are a number of postcards, letters, and telegrams between Pattie and guitarists George Harrison and Eric Clapton , both of whom she was romantically linked with over the years. Harrison, who married Boyd in 1966, penned his Beatles classics "Something," “I Need You,” and “For You Blue,” for his muse, while it is famously known that Clapton's classics "Layla" and "Wonderful Tonight" are about his yearning over a friend's wife. Boyd left Harrison in 1974, married Clapton in 1979, and later split in 1987.

Two love letters from Clapton, written while Boyd was still married to Harrison, are included in the lots, with the first beginning, "I am writing this letter to you, with the main purpose of ascertaining your feelings towards a subject well known to both of us." It continues, "What I wish to ask you is if you still love your husband?" He adds, "All these questions are very impertinent, I know, but if there is still a feeling in your heart for me… you must let me know! In fact, you must let me know whatever your feelings are... don't telephone! Send a letter... That is much safer... Whatever it may say my mind will be at rest..."

In another letter written to Pattie, readers can clearly feel the desperation Eric was facing at the time. "Dear Layla," he begins, "Why do you hesitate, am I a poor lover, am I ugly, am I too weak, too strong, do you know why? If you want me, take me, I am yours… if you don't want me, please break the spell that binds me. To cage a wild animal is a sin, to tame him is divine. My love is yours."

All items are open for online bidding between March 8 and March 22, and will be on display at Christie's London HQ from March 15 through 21. "I'm happy to let go of these things which I have treasured and loved for so many years," Boyd said in a press release. "I think it's time to move on and share what I have with others."
