"How Forever Feels" by Kenny Chesney

This song by Chesney topped the charts in both the United States and Canada. Not only was it top of the country charts, it went on to be his first top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This fun, Jimmy Buffet-type song almost wasn't released by Chesney though. Tim McGraw had previously recorded it, but decided not to release against it. The beach vibe fit Chesney, a fact that even McGraw went on to agree.

"Write This Down" by George Strait

This catchy hit performed by 'King George' was a dual chart-topper. It was Strait's 35th number-one single on the country chart as well as landing at number 27 on the Billboard Top 100 chart. This went down as one of his most notable crossover hits to date.

    "Amazed" by Lonestar

With over 1,650,000 copies sold in the United States, this popular country single dominated the charts. The original song lasted eight weeks at number one on the country charts and then was remixed and hit number one on the Billboard 100 charts. This was the band's overall third chart-topping single.

"Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Dixie Chicks

There's no denying this song is a favorite of many. The Dixie Chicks, now known as The Chicks, released "Cowboy Take Me Away" at the end of 1999 and it ended up number one on the charts, but not until Spring of 2000. This became one of The Chicks' most well-known songs and a permanent staple to their setlist.

"That Don't Impress Me Much" by Shania Twain

She might be Canadian but there's no doubt that Twain is a favorite in the United States. This song impressed the listeners and soared to the top of the country charts as well as the Billboard Top 100. It was one of Twain's biggest singles to date. Fun fact about the song -- the reason behind using Brad Pitt's name within the lyrics lies within a leaked naked picture of him in Playgirl. Twain said in an interview she didn't know what the fuss was all about seeing nude pictures.
