Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are reportedly headed to the altar after six years of dating.

According to the Mirror , the couple has been engaged for a while and are full of bliss as they soak up the official commitment to one another.

“The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles,” a source revealed. “They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable.”

Coldplay 's Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson met following the lead singer’s divorce from actress, Gwyneth Paltrow after 11 years of marriage. According to reports, Paltrow is fully supportive of Johnson and even considers her a friend. Very encouraging as Johnson will become the stepmom of Paltrow and Martin’s children, Apple and Moses .

“I love those kids like my life depends on it,” Johnson said. “With all my heart.”

According to sources close to the couple, they are in no hurry to wed, but look forward to making things more official after six years: “They are in no rush to plan the wedding but are just enjoying making their commitment official.”
