TxDOT outlines daily I-10 closures, FM 105 northbound and SH 87 northbound in Orange County

Nightly closures are planned this week in Orange County along Interstate 10.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, today (March 18) through Wednesday there are nightly closures on IH-10 between FM 3247/Martin Luther King Drive to Adams Bayou.

On Monday and Tuesday, the outside lane of IH-10 eastbound is closing and on Tuesday and Wednesday the outside lane of IH-10 westbound is closing.

Contractors are working in the area beginning at 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Expect delays.

In other Orange County traffic news this week:

• The right lane of FM 105 northbound is closing daily beginning today until Friday (March 22).

Contractors are working between FM 1131 to FM 2802 beginning at 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

• Also, the SH 87 northbound lane between SH 62 and the Orange County Airport is closing intermittently today through Wednesday (March 20).

Golden Triangle Polymers is moving a heavy haul beginning at 9 a.m.

Transports are averaging up to an hour.

Please use an alternate route or expect delays.
