This past weekend Tahoe and Northern California got another good dump of snow to add to their solid season totals.

Palisades reported 31 inches in the last five days with another two feet possible by next weekend.

Sugar Bowl got 26 inches and are expecting similar snowfall as Palisades through the weekend.

Northstar and Kirkwood also did well with 22 inches over the last week, and Northstar is projecting another 19 and Kirkwood a whopping 32 for the next storm.

Heavenly saw 15 inches with another 15 inbound.

Sierra at Tahoe got 24 inches, and are hoping to double it by the end of the weekend.

Boreal missed out on this last cycle, only reporting an inch, but they are hopeful for 27 inches by this next storm.

Diamond Peak got six inches, and Mt. Rose right up the highway got 12. They're expecting another nine and 14 inches, respectively.

Further south in the state, Mammoth reported 22 with another possible 22 on the way.

This week into the weekend the Sierras are seeing two different systems coming through with one starting Wednesday to Thursday, and another one right after Friday through Sunday.

Bryan Allegretto, forecaster for Open Snow, wrote, “Increasing winds & clouds Wednesday with rain and snow by evening. Snow showers on Thursday. Snow Friday into Saturday, with snow showers for Easter Sunday.”

Don’t pack up your pow skis for the summer quite yet.
