Queen Bey's eagerly awaited 27-track album, "Cowboy Carter," is all the rage, featuring a star-studded collaboration lineup including Dolly "P" (Parton), Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, and others.

On Friday, March 29, Spotify revealed that Beyoncé's latest offering became the most-streamed album in a single day on the platform for 2024, marking a first for a country album this year.

Two singles—"16 Carriages" and "Texas Hold 'Em"—were featured in Verizon's Super Bowl ad before the album's release. The latter raced to the top of Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

According to Billboard, Beyoncé is the first Black woman to conquer the top spots on both the Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B Hip-Hop charts since records began in 1958.

Beyoncé adds her unique flair to Dolly Parton's iconic "Jolene" in the album. If you play the album from start to finish, you'll notice "Dolly P," a special introduction by Dolly Parton herself, leading into the revamped "Jolene" as the tenth track. This version is a testament to Beyoncé's empowerment and artistic individuality, striking a chord with today's audience.

    Parton's original chorus pleads:

    "Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I'm begging of you, please don't take my man
    Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don't take him just because you can."

Beyoncé's rendition, however, issues a bold warning:

    "Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I'm warnin' you, don't come for my man (Jolene)
    Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Don't take the chance because you think you can."

She then ups the ante with a fierce line: "You don't want this smoke, so shoot your shot with someone else (you heard me)."

Reacting to Beyoncé's version, Dolly Parton expressed her admiration on Instagram , saying, "Wow, I just heard Jolene. Beyoncé is giving that girl some trouble and she deserves it. Love, Dolly P"

Will "Cowboy Carter" continue to dominate the charts and snag awards? Only time will tell.
