MENOMINEE — After nearly a decade of service, Paula Gruszynski, executive director of the M&M Area Community Foundation, resigned after taking over the foundation in February 2015.

“It has been a privilege to work alongside our dedicated team and community partners in advancing the foundation’s mission of enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Marinette and Menominee counties,” said Gruszynski.

During her tenure, Gruszynski spearheaded initiatives focused on enhancing the lives of residents across Marinette and Menominee counties.

Among her many accomplishments, she championed the Future Fund Children’s Savings Account Program, ensuring that every kindergarten student in the region benefited from financial literacy education and a $50 savings account to support their aspirations after high school. This program gives children hope, encouragement and a promise to be valued.

Under Gruszynski’s leadership, the foundation elevated its mission, expanded its impact and fostered a culture of collaboration and unity. Her unwavering commitment to the foundation’s mission has affirmed its position as a driving force for positive impacts in the region.

Reflecting on her time with the foundation, Gruszynski expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community.

“I am immensely proud of the progress we have made together and am confident that the Foundation will continue to thrive in the capable hands of its staff and board members,” Gruszynski said.

The M&M Area Community Foundation board of directors expressed its appreciation to Gruszynski for her dedication over the past nine years.

“Paula’s visionary leadership has been instrumental in driving the foundation’s growth and impact,” said Kerry Delgoffe, foundation chair. “We are deeply grateful for her contributions and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”

The MMACF Board will search for an executive director to build upon its strong foundation and lead it toward continued growth and service to the community.
