The Long Island Association recently elected six new members to its board of directors, the organization said Monday. Two of those members represent existing board-member companies, while four are from companies that are new members of the LIA board.

Among the new board members is Regina Jankowski, editor of Long Island Business News.

Additional members include Andrea Bonilla, external affairs manager of Vineyard Offshore, a new board company for the LIA; Anthony Esernio, commercial market president of TD Bank; Brad Griggs, senior manager of economic development at Amazon, a new board company for the LIA; John Kiernan, chief financial officer of Veeco, a new board company; and Angela Pinsky, senior government affairs manager of Google, a new board company.

"The addition of these new members to our board of directors reflects the LIA's commitment to staying at the forefront of business innovation and economic development,” Lawrence Waldman, chairman of the LIA said in a news release about the new board members. “Their insights will be invaluable as we continue to navigate the challenges and opportunities facing Long Island businesses."

"We are thrilled to welcome such amazing talent to the LIA board of directors,” Matt Cohen, LIA president and chief executive said in the news release. “Their extensive experience and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to our mission of advocating for the economic development of Long Island and fostering growth in the region.”

At the meeting, the board also recognized Jenna Natale, former LIBN associate publisher, for her “exceptional service to the LIA Board and her commitment to the Long Island business community.”
