Boardwalk is closing for maintenance

The section of boardwalk trail along Gator Lake at Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve closed temporarily on Monday, May 20. Workers are performing maintenance in that area. The boardwalk is expected to reopen Monday, June 3.

Guided walks will continue while the section of the boardwalk is undergoing repairs. The Interpretive Center and Rock and Stroll Garden will remain open to visitors for normal operating hours.
