Starting June 1, enter your pet in our annual Pet Lover’s Photo Contest

Florida Weekly wants proud pet parents to show their love in our annual pet photo contest, which opens June 1.

We’re looking for the best shots of your animal family members: dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, ferrets, horses, snakes or fish. A select number of portraits will be featured in our annual Pet Lovers edition published in our July 18 edition.

Grab your phone or camera and enter your favorite shot (one entry per person, please) by going to the Florida Weekly Facebook page, using the link www.Facebook.com/charlottecountyfloridaweekly or using the QR code shown here.

To enter the contest, you will be asked to provide your full name, email address, where you live and phone number. We will also want to know your pet’s name and anything else about your pet family member.

Our pet-friendly staff will review the pictures and choose a selection to be featured in our July 18 edition.

The winners will be chosen by votes, and you can promote your pet to be a star. Voting will take place from July 1-5. Make sure to watch our contest platform to share your photo with your friends and family — so you can all vote for your fun-loving pet sidekick to take first place.

The contest opens Saturday, June 1 — and we can’t wait to see those furry, funny, slithering and scaly pictures! ¦
