Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on West Broad Street in Henrico

Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A motorcyclist killed in a crash on West Broad Street on Wednesday, May 29 has now been identified by police.

At 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the intersection of West Broad Street and Wistar Street for a report of a single-vehicle crash. At the scene, officers found a man in the road who was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has been identified as 40-year-old Christian Gotay Rivera, of Colonial Heights.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing, but preliminary results indicate that Rivera was heading east on West Broad Street in the right lane when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. Investigators are still looking into other possible factors in the crash.
