St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church to hold remembrance in Memorial Gardens

The St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church will soon hold its annual remembrance to honor those laid to rest in the church’s Memorial Gardens.

According to a news advisory, the ashes of over 100 people rest in the gardens. During the service, led by Memorial Garden stewards and clergy members, the name of each person laid to rest in the gardens will be read, followed by the ringing of a bell. Roses will be given to family members and other participants to place on name plaques in the gardens.

Participation is open to church members as well as community members who are not a part of the church. A light lunch will be available after the service.

The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 2.
