Jennifer Lopez is 'heartsick' over having to cancel her tour

Jenny will be sticking much closer to the block after canceling her summer This Is Me... Live tour dates to spend time with her family and friends -- and says she is “heartsick” over letting down her fans.

Jennifer Lopez 's This Is Me... Live tour is officially off the books, after the announcement arrived on Friday, May 31, that her Live Nation-produced trek planned for June through August was canceled so she could take “time off to be with her children, family and close friends."

Lopez released a statement via her OntheJLo fansite, explaining the tough decision: "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," she wrote. "I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…"

Ticketmaster ticket holders will automatically be refunded for their tickets.
