Drainage repairs to cause lane closure on Ormond Boulevard

On Monday, June 3, the Department of Public Works will begin repairs to subsurface drainage on Ormond Boulevard near Shadow Lane in Destrehan.

A temporary lane shift will be implemented, and flagging crews will be onsite during the closure. The lane closures are expected to last through Friday, June 7.

Northbound drivers will be directed to cross over the median to the southbound lane, then back into the northbound lane once past the work site.

Once the work in the northbound lane is complete, southbound drivers will be directed to cross into the northbound lane, then back into the southbound lane. Residents are urged to exercise caution while traveling in the area.
