Leah Remini and best friend Jennifer Lopez have reconnected after falling out in 2022 over Ben Affleck

Leah Remini and her best friend, Jennifer Lopez, have reconciled amidst the pop star’s marital issues, after the pals had a falling out over her marriage to Ben Affleck, a source tells Page Six.

Our source tells us the longtime friends got into a fight before Lopez wed Affleck in 2022 over Remini’s concerns about the “Batman” actor.

Remini warned Lopez to remember the reason she originally broke up with the “Gone Girl” star when they first dated in 2002: “Because he is selfish and is not fully committed as a partner,” says our source.

“J.Lo was so mad, she cut off all ties,” and did not invite Remini to their wedding, says the source.

Remini was absent from the couple’s ceremony in Georgia in August , which was attended by Matt Damon, director Kevin Smith and his “Clerks” star Jason Mewes.

Sources told TMZ at the time that the former Scientologist was helping her 18-year-old daughter, Sofia, get ready to head off to college.

Lopez and Affleck first tied the knot by eloping to Vegas in July .

Now that Lopez and Affleck are on the rocks — and rumors of divorce are making headlines — our source says Remini has been wanting to reconnect with her former best friend.

“They were friends for years,” a source told us earlier this week. “She wants to reach out to her, but she can’t just call up and say, ‘I told you so.'”

Now we hear that Remini has reached out — and the pair have spoken — says the source, with Remini offering her friend support.

In September 2023, Remini pal Michelle Visage was asked if the “King of Queens” star and the pop icon were still friends on “Las Culturistas” podcast. She replied, “No comment.”

A source told Page Six previously that Lopez and Affleck are going to end their marriage after being unable to make things work.

The duo first sparked speculation the relationship was in trouble when Affleck did not attend the Met Gala with Lopez earlier this month.

On May 17, People reported they were living separately.

On Friday, Page Six exclusively reported that Lopez was pulling the plug on her “This Is Me… Live,” tour to spend more time with her family, and that she is “heartsick” over the decision.

Remini and Lopez met in 2004, when Lopez started dating singer Marc Anthony.

Lopez has said of the friendship, “It was one of those instant chemistry things, where you just feel like, ‘I love this person. I love being around this person. This person makes me laugh.”

In 2018, Remini said on “The View,” “We’re very close, like sisters… But in a different way that sisters are.”

Reps for both Remini and Lopez did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
