Metro arrests man in fatal east-side stabbing

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Police have arrested a suspect in the death of a man on the Valley’s east side last week.

In the early morning hours of May 25th, Metro Police found the body of a man along a walking trail near Lamb and Sahara after being called to the scene on reports of a stabbing.

On Friday, Las Vegas Metro Police announced the arrest of 46-year-old Elvis Ruvalcaba. Details surrounding the arrest haven’t been made public.

Ruvalcaba is currently in the Clark County Detention Center on a count of Open Murder.
