(670 The Score) Sky guard Chennedy Carter’s hard off-ball foul on Fever rookie star Caitlin Clark on Saturday didn’t sit well with Score morning host David Haugh.

Kennedy was assessed a common foul on the play during the game, but it was later upgraded to a flagrant foul upon review by the league office. After the game, Carter declined to elaborate on the play, saying she wouldn’t answer Clark-related questions.

The foul was completely unnecessary in Haugh’s mind, and then Carter made the situation worse, he said on his show Monday morning.

“Chennedy Carter has every right to not answer the question postgame, but then when she goes on social media hours afterward and says that Caitlin Clark can only hit a 3 and disparages her with social media commentary, that comes across even weaker, what she did postgame,” Haugh said. “If you got something to say, say it in front of a microphone in a professional setting when you have an opportunity. Don’t hide behind your keyboard and go later and criticize a player when you were asked a direct question about the incident you created. So the Sky, to me, are become more unlikeable by the day because of stuff like this.

“What happened on Saturday was an inexcusably dirty play.”

The Sky lost 71-70 to Clark and the Fever to drop to 3-4.

“The Sky come across to me as a very hard team to like,” Haugh said.
