Zoo Boulevard bridge reopens

Traffic is moving a lot smoother in northwest Wichita today. After a nine-month reconstruction project, the Zoo Boulevard bridge over the Big Ditch has re-opened to all traffic. Sedgwick County Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News the project came in ahead of schedule and $200,000 under budget. Baty says when the county's public works people perform well "it's worth pointing that out."

At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will recognize "signing day" at WSU Tech. Baty tells says the tech school's president -- Dr. Sheree Utash -- will make a presentation recognizing students who have enrolled in the growing college.
