Yadkin Board schedules rezoning public hearings

During the June 3 board meeting, the Yadkin County Board of Commissioners took the following action:

• Scheduled Legislative Public Hearings for Rezoning Cases RZ24-007 and RZ24-008 from Highway Business to Residential General.

• Approved NC Department of Environmental Quality Financial Assistance Agreement in the amount of $15,000.00 with a match of $3000.

• Approved a budget amendment for ambulance repairs.

• Approved a contract amendment with Harmony Heights Animal Hospital for care of the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office K-9.

• Approved the Human Services Agency Policy on Policies.

• Approved multiple recurring general services contracts.
