A Delta Airlines passenger detailed their first-class flight experience ruined by another traveler who "had a poop accident" mid-flight in a post shared on the airline's subreddit.

Reddit user @manateefourmation said they were on a flight last Thursday (May 30) when the incident took place, resulting in a foul odor throughout the cabin, which other passengers ordered the flight attendant to clean up.

"Was on a flight on Thursday where a passenger in FC had a poop accident that caused an incredibly foul odor throughout the cabin," the Redditor wrote. "Passengers wanted the FA to clean it up. I approached her and told her that it was not her job, and she was doing a great job under the circumstances."

The passenger also shared a handwritten note from the flight attendant, who apologized that their "first-class flight wasn't as pleasant as it should always be" and said they sent the passenger some Delta miles.

Last month, another Redditor claimed that their United Airlines flight traveling to Seattle was diverted to Dallas after a dog allegedly "had a messy accident in the aisle right in first-class."

"Plane diverted to DFW," Reddit user @gig_wizard wrote. "Ground crew spent over 2 hours cleaning carpets with paper towels. Smell made me ill. Gate agents kept yelling at passengers and the cabin crew. The smell never quite went away. First-class toilet declared unusable as the dog mess was apparently unresolved in there. Food went bad while on the ground so very few snacks left."

In September, a Delta Airlines flight that was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger's diarrhea led to "a biohazard issue."
