Vinted is a popular online marketplace where people can buy and sell second-hand goods. While most deals go off without a hitch, the platform has seen its fair share of drama and this cheating incident is no different.
The woman, eyeing up a top, became more intrigued by the location of the photo than the garment itself. A screenshot of her conversation with the seller later surfaced on X (formerly known as Twitter) and it spread like wildfire.
Curious about the ad, the potential buyer messaged: "Hey, weird question, but do you know [name]? " The seller, puzzled, responded: "Yes I do babe why x."
The seller immediately tried to make amends, saying: "Omg I so sorry babe I didn't realise," but got no response.
But then, adding insult to injury, the seller asked: "Are you interested in the top? xx."
This, predictably, only enraged the buyer further. She retorted: "No I'm not interested in the top."
