Glen Powell 's just want the best for their son and gave him a telling piece of advice when it comes to love .
The actor appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Wednesday, June 5, where he revealed some advice his parents gave him when it comes to love. His parents Cyndy and father Glen Powell Sr. have been married for over 40 years. He appreciates his parents giving him advice because now a days, it is hard to survive a love that long and it's "really tough."
He said: "I think for them the thing that they always tell me is, ‘You gotta find somebody with a sense of humor. You know, life is inevitably gonna have highs and lows but you always have to have somebody that can see the silver lining, the bright side of things and just the humor whether it’s good or bad."

His parents also like to prank the actor. His parents poked fun at him during the screening of his movie Hit Man in May. When Glen was posing on the red carpet, his parents held up cardboard signs behind his back, with his mother's reading, “STOP TRYING TO MAKE GLEN POWELL HAPPEN" and his father's, " IT’S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.
Glen told Entertainment Tonight : "They thought that was going to be a funny idea so I loved it. Even though they troll me, they support me in every way."
One thing about Glen though, he will joke back. In February, E! News published a story describing how Cyndy maintains her son humble. He retweeted the story, "Why Glen Powell's Mom Described Him as a 'Little Douchey,'" and jokingly wrote, "Anyone have good nursing home recommendations? I feel like it’s time."
When it comes to it, Glen and his parents have a good relationship, which he has even showcased on his instagram. In November, Glen shared a carousel of photos that featured him and his parents at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. In the caption, he revealed that it's where his father had proposed to Cyndy.
He wrote: "Quick trip to the foot of the Jefferson Memorial…where 40 years ago my dad proposed to my mom. Happy Anniversary, you two. Lucky to have your love in my life every day."
