ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A water main break has put residents of an Anderson County neighborhood under a boil water advisory.

According to Homeland Park Water, the water main break happened Tuesday in the area of Corning Street.

Officials said tree roots grew over the PVC pipes, putting pressure on them until they broke.

Residents in the area of Corning Street, Deerwood Trail, Woodcone Trail, Vista Trail, and Chipwood Drive are asked to boil their water for 48 hours.
