The Lehigh Valley Commercial & Industrial Real Estate Foundation, a nonprofit that supports babies impacted by medical challenges and their families, presented a record $63,000 each to Neonatal ICUs at Lehigh Valley Health Network and St. Luke's University Health Network recently.

Event Chair Costas J. Hrousis, co-founder and principal of Veraxia Commercial Real Estate Solutions expressed his pride in the accomplishment.

"The money raised and distributed today will go a long way in providing essential care for premature babies at LVHN’s Reilley's Children's Hospital and St. Luke's Children's Hospital in the Lehigh Valley,” he said.

The event celebrating the record amount raised was attended by members of the LV CIRE Foundation who were joined by representatives of the Neonatal Intensive Care Units of LVHN’s Reilly Children’s Hospital and St. Luke's Children’s Hospital. Additionally, members of “Mission Families” from each health network whose newborns needed neonatal services participated.

“I am immensely proud of the real estate community's unwavering support for our cause and deeply grateful to all the selfless volunteers who make these efforts possible,” said Hrousis. “Additionally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the tireless doctors and nurses in the neonatal intensive care units, whose dedication and expertise are crucial in saving and nurturing these vulnerable lives."
